Fully aware of the high level of responsibility that all of the above entails, I am convinced that Public Universities are an essential element in the structuring of a more critical, more egalitarian and more solidary Society. I would like, therefore, to make use of this space in order to invite you to analyse this document. I hope such an analysis will give rise to reflexions and proposals that will help us to improve and to make a greater contribution to our Community’s social and economic wellbeing.
Finally, I would like to thank the effort and dedication of those professionals who have made this work possible. I would also like to thank all of the members of the University Community who work daily to ensure that our University offers a quality public service and that it advances along the road of excellence.
